The K'NEX Education Design & Build Set has arrived! This is an excellent building set to challenge and strengthen the spatial relationship skills of children in grades 1 – 6.
The set makes an excellent Science/Technology Center in the classroom where at least three individuals can build independently or three pairs of students can work collaboratively on any of the 25 building projects included. Spatial relationship skills are extremely important developmentally and they need to be practiced by boys and girls alike to prepare them for more abstract concepts they will face in middle school science and mathematics programs.
The twenty-five models in the set cover a wide range of themes and everyone will find several models that excite their interest. The inclusion of K’NEX Bricks in the 900 pieces found in the set provides additional building options and enables children’s’ imaginations to explore new ideas, concepts, and building strategies. The set is packaged in a strong, stackable storage tray with movable dividers and a snap-on lid.
